Choose your waxing style before you arrive at your therapist if you want.
Always ask your therapist what he/she thinks. Others see you differently than you do yourself while therapists see a lot more than most. So their advise is generally good.
Feel free to experiment. If it does not work, at least it will grow back!
Weather its your shaft, sac, crack or butt you want to wax, your own level of confidence will determine how your new style goes down elsewhere!

NOTE: Terms mean different things in different countries and can vary from therapist to therapist.
It is safest to explain what you want done and let the therapist put a name to it.
Never assume therapists know what you want done OR what you call a Brazilian is the same as their idea of one. Always tell them, unless you want their opinion and ask for it.

| The Brazilian |
The hair is removed from the shaft and the scrotum and may include the perineum (the area between your scrotum and your crack)....up to you.
Origin of the name:
Some claim the origin of the concept Brazilian hairless privates date back to a letter written by Pêro Vaz de Caminha documenting Pedro Álvares Cabral's voyage to Brazil in 1500 AD, which says: "...suas vergonhas tão altas e tão çarradinhas e tão limpas das cabeleiras que de as nós muito bem olharmos não tínhamos nenhuma vergonha" (English translation: "their private parts were so exposed, so healthy and so hairless, that looking upon them we felt no shame").
The style as it is known today was all but invented in the late 1980s at J. Sisters salon in Manhattan, New York. While the salon is operated by several Brazilian sisters, the style has been reported to have been named simply because it 'sounded exotic.'

| Same as for the Brazilian, but all the pubic hair is removed as well.
Some men strip to the "speedo line" while others go to the naval.
Still others go up to under the chest to get rid of the 'garden path'. |
| The Hollywood |
| The complete removal of all pubic hair, including hair from your crack. |
| The BSC |
| Back, sac and crack. Hair is removed from the shoulders and tops of the arms, the back, butt, crack, shaft, scrotum and perineum. |
| The Hitler Moustache |
| A small square of pubes is left above your shaft. |
| Other |
These 'names' indicate styles only. However there are no 'rules'. Have as much or as little done as you wish. Find a style you feel confident and comfortable with.
Experiment! It will always grow back so you can try something else next time. |
